The soft presence of spring can be felt in Portugal as early as February.
Delicate flowers appear quietly, tender greens emerge, buds swell with life not yet revealed. The air becomes fresh and humid, the earth dark and fragrant after rain.

The land begins to wake up.
Nature stirs.
And we awaken with it.

This workshop is an invitation to sense this moment of transition and express it through Ikebana. To listen, to observe, and to translate subtle feelings into form. Together, we will create spring compositions inspired by fragility, renewal, and the quiet movement of life returning.

The workshop will take place at the Albuquerque Foundation in Sintra, Portugal — a tranquil and inspiring space that naturally invites presence, contemplation, and attentive creation.

Through the practice of Ikebana, we will explore harmony between materials, space, and intention, allowing each arrangement to emerge naturally.

All materials will be provided. After the workshop, participants will be able to take home the plants used in their arrangements. A film photograph of each completed work will be shared via email.
